[...] Keep an Open Mind. In the Second grade I was asked to draw a picture of Jesus. Only one open minded child in the class drew him beardless. That was my first brush with open mindedness. Later in life I had a couple more reminders. One was with a philosophy teacher, who, at Christmas time, proposed that if we loved one person more than everyone else, that we should by one great gift for that person to the exclusion of everyone else. That immediately struck me as ludicrous until I opened my mind and gave it some thought. I find life much more rewarding when I am open to new possibilities.
Very nice Snerin, many folks picture him with a beard. You approached it with an open mind and applied some of today's standards rather than the standards of his days. Thanks for stopping by and contributing.

When picturing Jesus today I thought of the kind of man that people would idolize. Beards are not popular in the ideal protagonists of today's society, so my Jesus was beardless. I also gave him a suit to identify him as being classy.

You know, I have a similar vision. Some cool guy with some deep insights, always fun to be around. It's hard to shake the beard, seems like anywhere we look we find a bearded Jesus. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the series!

I've always thought of Jesus as someone fun to hangout with. Someone who is very open minded and nonjudgemental at all. And yes, my image of Jesus has a beard =)
