Cloud Living by Glen Allsop is one of the most popular eBooks about making money online, especially among bloggers in the personal development arena.  Glen is the founder of the very popular personal development blog PluginID.  He recently sold that blog and is now blogging at Viper Chill, where he focuses more on making money online and strategies to grow your online presence.

The one thing that sets Cloud Living apart from the competition is that Glen has proven his strategies.  He walked the walk of making money online.  He created a sustainable income and tested his techniques before talking the talk.  After figuring out the best techniques to make money online, and after practicing this for four years, he decided to share what he learned in his eBook, Cloud Living.

I want to be clear here.  He’s not one of those people that made his money be telling others how to make money.  This is obviously a portion of his income now, but this is after he already did it on his own, by using the techniques he shares with us in Cloud Living.  Not only that, but he shares a ton of advice for free on his blog Viper Chill.  After following his blog for some time, I decided he had the knowledge and expertise I was looking for and I purchased his eBook, Cloud Living.

Overview

Cloud Living is an eBook that shows you, step by step, how to earn an income online.  It is divided into two main sections whichGlen calls “Skymaps.”

The first section is the Minisite Skymap.  In the Minisite Skymap Glen describes how to create a landing page to guide people to the purchase of an affiliate product.   The idea being that you earn commissions from these affiliate products.  Glen is very detailed and walks you through the process step by step.  In addition to the detailed descriptions he also includes video so that he can show you examples and walk you through many of the steps.

The second section is the Blog Skymap. In the Blog Skymap Glen walks you through the steps of creating a blog.  He covers the creation of a blog from start to finish.  If you are planning to start a new blog, this is the premier resource to get you started.  If I had read this before starting Eden Journal, I would have had a big head start.

I’m including his table of contents below, because it illustrates the level of detail covered in Cloud Living.  You can also see how completely he covers the topics.

Minuses

He repeats some of the information from the minisite skymap in the blog skymap.  This is hardly a minus though as he designed the eBook so that either section could be read independently.

Verdict

This is a must buy if you want to make money through affiliate sales.  I love Cloud Living.  I’m giving Cloud Living 5 stars for content and 5 stars for value.  Even when the price goes up to $47 this will be a good value.  The great thing about Cloud Living, is that it will very quickly pay for itself.  If you follow the instructions provided and setup a blog or minisite, you have a very good chance of generating an online source of income.  The level of detail included makes it easy for anyone to get started making money online.

The real test will be when I put this new found knowledge into practice.  I’m in the process of doing this now, and I’ll report back here in a few months after I get things up and running, and after I have some time for some affiliate sales to start trickling in.  Don’t wait for me though, check it out for yourself, and join me in some online money making.
