Eric: Nice message and post. It really drove home the message of the importance of not getting so caught up with ourselves and what we want that we neglect and overlook the things and people around us. Cute poem. I really enjoyed reading it.

Preeti, Yes, I did write this poem. I vaguely recall The Giving Tree, I'll have to see if they have it at our library. Sounds like you and your family are leading by example, and that is fantastic. Thanks for being a good neighbor and a friend to our planet.

Eric,

There is very powerful message here, I hope all of us get it and make it better as you said, we got only one world and one life to maintain it. I was reading a story to my preschooler called "giving tree", which has a great message.

We are doing my little part by composting, using cloth napkins, and cloth bags and little plastic as much possible, recycle, reuse has its benefit, did you write this poem?

Very cool Raul, I love synchronicity. I'm not normally much of a poet, but I've been reading a lot of Dr. Seuss lately, and I think some of it sunk into my brain. :)

Hi Eric,

Funny isn't it? I was just responding to your kind comment in my blog and then came to visit you and found this post basically talking about the same concept that my last post, of course in a different way. I suck at writing poetry!

This poem is so simple yet so true and precise to the point, I like it, great work!

Hi Keith,
We all have to share this little planet of ours. I hope more people can take some time to think about their planet, their neighbors, and themselves. Even small changes can make a difference.
