About

For many years, I have felt a desire to write.  I’ve always had a knack for it, and I suppose I’m relatively creative, but I’ve never had a good outlet for my writing.  I’ve done some technical writing at work, including many procedures used internally on a variety of computer related topics.  While this came easy to me, it wasn’t filling the void.  A few years back, I volunteered as editor for our Jeep Club’s newsletter.  This reignited the flame, and I enjoyed writing various articles on the activities and adventures of our club.  This flame slowly died as the pressures of work continued to increase.  Additionally, I found myself spending more time just fitting all the content into the newsletter and less time actually writing.  Luckily I found a volunteer to take over as editor.  Once again I found myself without a creative outlet.

Fast forward to now, and some things have changed.  I was laid off from that job that was taking so much of my time.  I spent a couple months unemployed, and I landed a new job.  My hope is that the new job will allow more time for writing. 

I love to read, I love to listen, and I want to share all the little tidbits of information that I gather with you, the readers of my blog.  My favorite tidbits to share are ones that have made a positive impact on my life.  I want to share my personal experiences, and maybe some experiences of others, or maybe some of your own.  My goal is to pull together relevant, positive, and helpful information from my own experiences, and those of my family and friends, and post them here so that you may learn, expand your knowledge, and improve your life.

I feel that now is the right time.  It took me a while to accumulate enough life experience to even begin something like this.  I’ve experienced some changes in my life over the last few years, and I have experienced some challenges.  Now is the time to share the experiences of my life.  Now is the time to make a positive impact on others.  I hope you will join me on this journey!
